The 5,800 square foot venue, which was in development since late 2020, opened it's doors in May 2024 receiving fantastic reviews for it's incredible food and luxury interior.
We were heavily involved from the start of the project, collaborating with Cubbin & Bregazzi, Samson Design Architects and Kneen Construction to fulfill the client's dreams.
We offered an extensive range of electrical design & installation services, including:
"Working with the EDS team on the various areas of electrical design and fit out to transform the Victorian school building Manxonia House into Kellas, a restaurant and function venue in Port St Mary, was a large scale project to say the least - but one that we knew we were in capable hands for from start to finish. They were wiling to walk with us from the early stages of just a plan and shell of a building, enabling us to fully explore, and focus our vision for the site from day one. Their expertise (and crucially patience!) was invaluable as the execution of the concepts were smoothly completed once works were able to begin. EDS helped guide the process with recommendations for problem solving as needed throughout - as is often required when restoring a building of this size and age - while remaining mindful of both the needs of the restoration work itself, and the ongoing operation and maintenance of the venue once completed. Mickey and his team were all a pleasure to deal with, their attention to detail throughout the process, and the professionalism of the team on site were first rate. EDS is certainly a company we would happily and enthusiastically recommend."
